Ambitious Air Mobility Group N.V. (AAMG) and its partners today confirmed their strong interest in continuing the Lilium aircraft program by acquiring key assets and securing technical expertise. As a long-standing supporter of the platform, AAMG had already ordered 16 Lilium aircraft, demonstrating its confidence in the program's technology and vision. The group is now preparing for a revival of the company, leveraging its capital of over €250 million for this purpose. "We are convinced that what has been developed here in Bavaria is groundbreaking and both technically and economically feasible. The Lilium platform is the result of years of effort by some of the most talented engineers in the world. We are excited about the opportunity to advance this platform, invest in it, and realize its full potential," explains Dr. Robert Kamp, CEO & Senior Partner of AAMG.

AAMG's offer includes:

- Acquisition of Lilium's intellectual property (IP), assets, and test facilities

- Continuation and rehiring of key technical and certification teams

- Continuation of the development and certification of the aircraft platform

Activation of a European supply chain to support the program. The company also noted that its investment approach is fully funded. An initial commitment of €250 million is available, with access to a further €500 million of capital for expanding operations in Europe and beyond. AAMG plans to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including existing suppliers, government agencies, and Government partners to ensure that the project remains based in Europe and meets the high standards and demands of German and European aerospace expertise.
