Moog Inc., a worldwide designer, manufacturer and systems integrator of high-performance precision motion and control systems, and Echodyne Corp., the radar platform company, announce an agreement to accelerate the development and demonstration of integrated hardware and software solutions for defense applications by combining Moog’s weapon-system capabilities with Echodyne’s radar systems.
This collaboration will enable Moog and Echodyne to work together on expanding integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) capabilities, airfield safety systems, and combat vehicle platforms. The agreement marks a significant step toward delivering mission ready systems for global defense markets, harnessing the strengths of both companies to provide mission configurable capabilities.
“Moog recognizes the value of our MESA radars’ unique high-fidelity data for effective counter-drone and low altitude air defense,” said Eben Frankenberg, CEO of Echodyne. “We are excited by the opportunity to collaborate with an industry leader such as Moog.”
"We see incredible opportunity combining Moog’s weapon systems expertise with Echodyne’s advanced radar systems," said Mike Gruver, Moog Defense Senior Vice President. "This relationship allows us to move faster than we could independently.”
The agreement highlights each company’s commitment to fielding innovative solutions which meet the defense industry’s evolving demands. Moog and Echodyne plan to collaborate on test and experimentation, product development, demonstrations, and new business pursuits across a variety of applications in support of national security priorities.
