Cosmic Aerospace has progressed its CX-2 demonstrator flight test campaign, completing flights three through nine on 21-22 February. The latest phase evaluated landing gear retraction, speed stability between 50 and 100 mph, engines-off glide performance, and maximum g-load capability.
Additional tests assessed autonomous loiter and approach, yaw, pitch and roll stability and single-engine-out handling. Early results indicate strong performance across all assessed parameters.
The next stage of testing will take CX-2 to higher altitudes to further validate its aerodynamic and propulsion systems.
