Vivace International Corporation has partnered with Stratolaunch to provide propulsion and fuel tanks for its Talon-A hypersonic test vehicles. Vivace supported both TA-1 and TA-2 test flights with the design and manufacture of complex tank hardware, which meets safety and performance standards for reusable hypersonic vehicles.
TA-1 completed a powered test flight in March 2024, including engine ignition and a controlled water landing. TA-2 followed with a first hypersonic flight in December 2024 and a second in March 2025, marking the vehicle’s first reuse.
Vivace’s tanks manage propellant flow through each stage of flight using internal systems built for reliability and turnaround speed. The company remains involved in the Talon-A programme for future missions.
Vivace co-founder and CEO Dave Cochran says: “Talon-A is playing a crucial role in the advancement of our nation's hypersonic testing and we are proud to support Stratolaunch's development of this world-class aerospace vehicle. With our mission-critical hardware and components, reliable delivery and top-tier performance, Vivace continues to be a trusted partner across a wide range of aerospace and defence applications.”
