Tyranno-reinforced Composites

Tyranno-reinforced composites cover aerospace structural and thermal-protection materials incorporating Tyranno fibre — a silicon-titanium-carbon-oxygen (Si-Ti-C-O) or silicon-zirconium-carbon-oxygen (Si-Zr-C-O) continuous ceramic fibre — within ceramic matrix composite (CMC) or polymer matrix systems, processed via chemical vapour infiltration (CVI), polymer impregnation and pyrolysis (PIP), or resin transfer moulding (RTM) to achieve high-temperature stability, oxidation resistance, and elevated specific stiffness.
