Heat Treatment

Heat treatment covers the controlled thermal processing of aerospace metallic components and raw stock to modify mechanical properties, microstructure, and residual stress states, encompassing processes such as annealing, normalising, hardening, tempering, solution treating, and ageing applied to aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, nickel superalloys, and steels in accordance with specifications such as AMS, NADCAP-accredited cycles, and customer-defined thermal profiles.
