Embraer's E195-E2 passes muster with 100% SAF

The SAF used was 100% Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids Synthetic Paraffinic Kerosine (HEFA-SPK) acquired from World Energy. HEFA-SPK is a specific type of hydrotreated renewable feedstock fuel.

Embraer puts the E175-E2 on ice for three years

Despite making its first flight in 2019, the E175-E2 will not now enter commercial service until at least 2027. Embraer cites the success of the current E175 as one of the factors in the decision to delay.

Embraer selects GADSS supplier for E2 jets

Embraer will install the GADSS solution developed by SKYTRAC and ACR Electronics on its E2 jets as a standard fitting. This will automatically provide an aircraft's precise location as soon as a distress signal is detected.
