Enflite, Inc., the interior and galley products division of LifePort, Inc., today announced the signing of an agreement to provide interior cabin mechanisms and galley appliances to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation for their new G650® business jet aircraft. LifePort is a Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) company – the aftermarket division of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). “Our products are engineered to be highly reliable and meet Gulfstream’s Cabin Essentials &™ requirements for interior components. As we incorporate design innovations that go beyond current expectations, we are setting the standard for next generation equipment,” said Kevin Kieper, Enflite’s Vice President and General Manager. The G650 cabin mechanisms will include electrically operated console tables, pocket doors and monitor lifts. Additionally, a manual dual-leg lo-stow pedestal table will accommodate conference groupings. For advanced cooking capabilities, the galley appliances will consist of both a “zero clearance, even flow” convection oven and “inverter technology” microwave. The appliances will have full graphic LCD displays with capacitive switch control buttons. These cabin items and galley appliances will be standard equipment for all Gulfstream G650 aircraft completions.
