CBJ debuted at the China Air Show

COMAC's first business jet, the CBJ, was unveiled at the China International Aerospace Expo, and carried out flight demonstrations and ground demonstrations. Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager Wu Yongliang and Chairman Zhai Zhigang of 123 Aviation Co., Ltd., Sun Yongan, Co-President of Tianjiu General Aviation, Ji Xingzhuo, Chairman of Future Aviation, Li Bokai, President of Asia Alliance Business Jet, Ji Guang, President of Boya Aviation, Lin Peiqun, chairman of Guangdong Airport Management Group Yitong Business Aviation Service Co., Ltd., and Zhou Wei, director of Shanghai Golden Deer Business Aviation, jointly unveiled the CBJ. Subsequently, Wu Yongliang attended and delivered a speech at the symposium on commercial operation and cooperation model innovation of domestically-made business jets.

Wu Yongliang said that in order to continuously enrich the product pedigree, enhance product value, and meet the needs of diversified customers, COMAC started the development of CBJ business jets in early 2015 and began refitting in 2017. The TC design changes and certification were completed in March this year. CBJ is a derivative model of ARJ21 aircraft. It is positioned as a medium-range and large-scale modified business jet. It specialises in business flights, administrative and foreign affairs, and has good plateau high temperature performance and complex route obstacle clearance capabilities.

The appearance of the CBJ business jet unveiled this time is painted with a unique mica paint, and the combination of dark blue and gold is calm and atmospheric. The cabin adopts a more comfortable and intelligent design, with a total of 13 seats, including rest area, meeting area, meeting and dining area, spacious cabin space and advanced entertainment interactive system.

Wu Yongliang emphasised that COMAC has always adhered to market demand-oriented, customer-centric, and creating value for customers. Facing the broad business jet transportation market in the future, COMAC will work with customers and partners to explore the innovation of CBJ business operations and cooperation models, adhere to open cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win, and bring more business to customers and partners opportunity to inject new vitality into the global business jet market.
