On October 26, the domestically produced carbon brake discs for 737-800/-900/-8 aircraft independently developed by Youcai Bermuda successfully passed the flight verification test. The test results show that the domestic carbon brake disc performed well during the flight test, and all parameters met the design and airworthiness requirements.

The flight verification test is one of the important verification tests in the carbon brake disc replacement project for transport aircraft. The test items mainly include braking performance and characteristic test during landing, braking performance and characteristic test during rejected takeoff (RTO), matching test of anti-skid system under wet runway conditions and parking brake test, etc. In this test, Youcai Bermuda carried out various test items in accordance with the test program approved by the bureau. The Airworthiness Certification Office of the Civil Aviation Southwest Regional Administration issued a special flight certificate for this test flight. A commissioner was assigned to guide the witnessing and review of the test.

The airlines and airports implementing the test flight attach great importance to this test flight. The airline has set up a capable flight test team, carefully conducts safety risk assessments, carefully formulates safety emergency plans, carefully plans the implementation of the test flight, and conducts the test flight with a flight crew composed of senior flight instructors.
