Wide-ranging cooperation
FACC and Embraer are maintaining a broad cooperation, with FACC manufacturing business jet cabins and as well structural components, such as spoilers and ailerons, for Embraer’s passenger aircraft. Being one of Embraer’s strategic partners in the uprising field of Advanced Air Mobility, FACC is also developing and manufacturing the horizontal and the vertical tail and its moveables (rudder and elevator) as well as the aileron for the eVTOL from Eve Air Mobility, a company founded by Embraer.
New technologies for carbon neutral flying
FACC and Embraer as well have an extensive R&D collaboration, focusing on recyclable materials, life cycle assessments for a circular economy, and technologies for sustainable flying. That includes the development of a high-rate, automated manufacturing process for aviation, which, combined with a further weight reduction of its lightweight components, will further contribute to lower aircraft emissions.
