Test-Fuchs Aerospace Systems and Deutsche Aircraft have begun testing the first prototype components of the D328eco’s fuel system, including trials with Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The work stems from a partnership formed in September 2023 to support safety, efficiency and environmental goals.
The fuel system is being developed to meet high technical standards and enable SAF use from the start. Test-Fuchs company owner and CEO Volker Fuchs says: “Seeing our prototype components enter the initial testing phase is a proud moment for our team. From the outset, our focus has been on delivering a fuel system that not only meets the highest safety and efficiency standards but also supports the use of SAF from day one.”
Deutsche Aircraft CEO Nico Neumann adds: “This milestone reflects the strength of our valued partnership with Test-Fuchs and our shared commitment to sustainable aviation. The D328eco is designed to be future-ready, and the fuel system plays a key role in that vision.”
The SAF-ready fuel system is a central feature of the D328eco, which aims to offer lower emissions, improved economics and greater operational flexibility for regional operators.
