Short-medium range regional aircraft, the first domestically manufactured Chinese passenger airliner.

Features a new supercritical wing design with a 25 degree sweepback and winglets, T-tail, tricycle retractable landing gears, Pro Line 21 avionics and twin GE CF34 engines pod mounted mounted on rear fuselage.

Seats 90 (-700) to 115 (-900) passengers seated in rows of 5 with 2 flight crew and 2 cabin attendants.

Includes a freighter version ARJ21-700F; corporate large business jet, CBJ or ARJ21-700B; medical emergency service version, ARJ21 MES; and stretched version for 115 passengers, ARJ21-900.
