Silicone adhesives for aerospace applications encompass one- and two-part RTV (room-temperature vulcanising) and high-temperature-cure formulations used to bond, seal, and pot components across wide thermal ranges, typically −65 °C to +260 °C or beyond, with inherent flexibility, vibration damping, and resistance to moisture, UV, and aviation fluids making them suited to airframe sealing, avionics encapsulation, and thermal-management assemblies.
