Rod End Bearings

Rod end bearings — also known as heim joints or rose joints — are spherical plain bearings housed within a threaded shank, used in aerospace control linkages, actuator assemblies, and flight-control push-pull rods to accommodate angular misalignment; they are manufactured from corrosion-resistant steel, titanium, or aluminium alloys, with PTFE-lined or chrome-plated bearing races, to AS81935 and NAS standards.
