Composite Pultrusion

Composite pultrusion covers the continuous manufacture of constant cross-section structural profiles by pulling reinforcing fibres — typically carbon, glass or aramid rovings and mats — through a resin bath or dry-fibre preforming stage and then a heated die, where cure of thermoset matrices such as epoxy, polyester or polyurethane is completed inline to produce rods, tubes, angles and complex hollow sections used in aerospace structural applications.
