Crimp contacts are discrete electrical termination elements — pins, sockets, and socket-pin combinations — crimped onto conductor wire ends to form gas-tight, vibration-resistant connections within multi-way aerospace connector bodies, covering materials such as beryllium copper and gold-plated brass, and encompassing tooling-controlled processes qualified to ASTM, MIL-SPEC, and ECSS crimp standards.
