Hermetic and pressurised seals encompass components and assemblies engineered to prevent gas or fluid ingress and egress across pressure differentials in aerospace structures, including fuselage pressure-vessel seals, avionics enclosure hermetic feedthroughs, and canopy/door perimeter seals, utilising glass-to-metal and ceramic-to-metal bonding, brazing, and elastomeric co-moulding processes to achieve leak rates typically qualified to MIL-STD-1576 or equivalent RTCA/DO standards.
