Waveguide rotary joints are precision RF transmission components that maintain continuous microwave and millimetre-wave signal propagation across a rotating interface, used in antenna pointing mechanisms, radar systems, and satellite payloads. They incorporate choke-ring coupling, TE₁₁ or TEM mode propagation, low-VSWR geometry, and are manufactured from aluminium alloy or silver-plated brass to MIL-DTL and ECSS standards.
