Heroux-Devtek's CESA subsidiary in Spain has been awarded a major multi-year contract by Boeing to manufacture new actuation components for several commercial aircraft platforms. The contract scope will include the supply of production requirements and spare parts for the 787, 777, 777X, 767 (including the tanker version) and 747.
This marks the largest contract for Heroux-Devtek Spain since the acquisition of Compania Espanola de Sistemas Aeronauticos, S.A.U. (CESA) in October 2018 and is among the most important supply agreements in CESA's history. This award has also led to full qualification by Boeing of CESA's design capabilities and special processes, enabling further potential opportunities.
"I am very proud of our team in Spain for the hard work they put in to winning this contract. It is the largest actuation supply agreement ever for Heroux-Devtek and sparks the beginning of the realisation of the cross-selling opportunities we saw in the CESA acquisition. I have no doubt that our team will build on our great relationship with Boeing by delivering the same excellent quality in our products for the actuation market segment that we have demonstrated in our landing gear systems," says Heroux-Devtek President & CEO, Martin Brassard.
Heroux-Devtek is a leading international manufacturer of aerospace products and the world's third-largest landing gear manufacturer.
