STELIA's Opera reverse herringbone business class aircraft seating family is growing with a new wide-body version, with innovative features to enhance passenger comfort and well-being. Also, the brand new Rendez-Vous will be showcased in its Solo version for the first time.
Now available on Airbus A350 platform and soon on Boeing B787 platform with a first launch customer, Opera WB bears many of STELIA Aerospace’s features for passenger comfort such as wide full-flat bed, extra-large 20” monitor screen, fully integrated door for increased privacy, extra stowage capacity. Thanks to its simplified state-of-the-art design, Opera WB enables easy installation and wiring of screens.
New innovative features for an enhanced passenger experience include sleep care: Developed and patented by STELIA Aerospace, this new feature helps mitigate the effects of jetlag for passengers. Seat sensors provide data about the passenger’s level of tiredness or sleep, so that the cabin crew can accordingly adapt their offer of drinks and blankets.
A Crew Service app connects the passengers and the cabin crew, thanks to sensors integrated in the seat. The crew is consequently made aware of the passenger needs and can offer adapted services depending on the different phases the passengers go through (sleep, awakening phase, stress) or their needs (water bottle sensor, position of armrests).
Launched in 2022, Rendez-Vous is one of the widest Business Class seats on the market, co- developed by STELIA Aerospace and Design Investment, creator of the original design concept. A staggered Business Class seat designed for widebody platforms, it comes in two versions: the ‘Honeymoon’ - designed like a comfortable and vast sofa for a unique “at home” feeling, the only seat today offering this new way of using space, largely influenced by contemporary home styling aspects – and the ‘Solo’.
"At STELIA Aerospace, we are continuously renewing and enhancing our range of Premium Business class seats, to better serve our customers in their pursuit for excellence in passenger experience and secure their daily operations by delivering on time and on quality," says Thierry Kanengieser, VP Cabin Interior STELIA Aerospace.
