Daher has secured new logistics contracts with Safran, extending its role across production and aftermarket support in France and Germany.
Operations begin in April 2026 and include support for Safran Nacelles near the Airbus A320neo final assembly line in Hamburg. Daher will manage on-site logistics including storage, parts preparation and shipping, with a 20-person team deployed.
A second contract establishes a 3,000 m² logistics platform in Tremblay-en-France for Safran Electronics & Defense. The facility will support MRO and AOG operations, handling thousands of shipments and deliveries each year, supported by a warehouse management system enabling real-time tracking.
The location near Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport supports rapid response requirements, with AOG services designed to respond within 3.5 hours.
The contracts build on Daher’s existing work with Safran Helicopter Engines, where more than 150 employees support production ramp-up and site modernisation across multiple French locations.
Daher and Safran are also advancing automation initiatives including automated guided vehicles, storage systems and control technologies, alongside development of Daher’s AOG Desk service for urgent spare parts support.
With global fleet growth driving demand, the MRO market is expected to expand significantly, increasing pressure on logistics performance and responsiveness.
Aymeric Daher, Deputy CEO of Daher and CEO of Daher Logistics, says: “These new projects with Safran Nacelles and Safran Electronics & Defense mark an important milestone. We are now involved in both industrial operations and spare parts flows in France and Germany. This is the result of teamwork and a shared commitment to move forward together.”
