Coupling nuts are elongated internally threaded fasteners used to join two externally threaded components end-to-end, such as connecting a stud to a rod or extending threaded assemblies within airframe structures, hydraulic lines, and control systems. Manufactured to AN, MS, and NAS standards in aerospace-grade aluminium alloys, titanium, and corrosion-resistant steel (CRES), they are produced to close tolerances via CNC screw machining with thread forms conforming to MIL-S-7742 or UNJ specifications.
