Carbon tape comprises unidirectional or woven carbon fibre tows supplied in slit-width rolls for use in automated fibre placement (AFP), filament winding, and hand lay-up processes, where it serves as the primary reinforcement medium in thermoset and thermoplastic composite structures meeting aerospace-grade CFRP specifications.
