External and Taxi Aid Camera Systems (ETACS) cover the design and integration of dedicated low-light and wide-angle CCD or CMOS camera units mounted at external fuselage, wing-tip, or undercarriage positions to provide pilots with real-time ground manoeuvring situational awareness, encompassing video processing electronics, MIL-STD-compliant wiring harnesses, ruggedised optical housings, and cockpit display interface protocols such as ARINC 818.
