Fuselage sections encompass the primary structural barrel assemblies of fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft, covering forward, centre and aft sections fabricated from aluminium alloy, titanium, and CFRP or GLARE composite laminates using automated fibre placement (AFP), superplastic forming (SPF) and friction-stir welding (FSW), together with the associated frames, stringers, longerons, skin panels and pressure-vessel bulkheads joined by hi-lok fastening and co-curing processes.
