Angle drives are mechanical power-transmission assemblies that redirect rotational torque through a defined angular offset — typically 90° — between input and output shafts, employing bevel, spiral-bevel, or hypoid gear sets, and are used in aerospace actuation, accessory gearbox offtakes, and flight-control linkages where space constraints preclude in-line shaft arrangements.
