Engine Pylons

Engine pylons are the primary load-bearing structural interfaces that suspend turbofan or turboprop powerplants from the airframe, typically fabricated from titanium alloy, high-strength steel, and CFRP using precision machining, superplastic forming (SPF), and diffusion bonding (DB), and must satisfy FAR/CS 25.1103 structural and fail-safe requirements whilst housing fuel, hydraulic, and EEC wiring conduits.
