Speed reducers are mechanical power-transmission devices used in aerospace production machinery to step down rotational speed and increase output torque from prime movers, encompassing gear trains (spur, helical, bevel and worm configurations), planetary gearboxes, cycloidal drives and harmonic drives, typically integrated into CNC-driven assembly rigs, robotic actuators and driven tooling systems.
