Ceramic composite structures encompasses components fabricated from continuous-fibre-reinforced ceramic matrix composites (CMCs), principally silicon carbide fibre–silicon carbide matrix (SiC/SiC) and oxide–oxide systems, produced via chemical vapour infiltration (CVI), polymer impregnation and pyrolysis (PIP), or melt infiltration (MI), and applied where high-temperature resistance, low density, and structural integrity under sustained thermal and mechanical loading are required.
