Wing spars are primary load-bearing structural members spanning the wing chord-wise or span-wise to resist bending, shear, and torsional forces, manufactured from aerospace-grade aluminium alloys, titanium, or CFRP using processes such as autoclave cure, resin transfer moulding (RTM), and multi-axis CNC machining, with designs typically following I-beam or box-section configurations qualified to ASTM and MIL-SPEC standards.
