Flap/Slat Mechanisms

Flap/slat mechanisms encompass the actuation and load-bearing assemblies that deploy and retract high-lift devices on fixed-wing aircraft, covering torque tubes, drive shafts, ballscrews, gearboxes, hinges, tracks, and carriages manufactured from high-strength aluminium alloys, titanium, and corrosion-resistant steels using precision machining, EDM, and surface treatments such as hard anodising and PTFE coating.
