Cable eyes are threaded or swaged terminal fittings attached to the ends of control cables, providing a looped or eyelet interface for connection to turnbuckles, clevis pins, and rigging hardware within flight control and mechanical actuation systems; manufactured from corrosion-resistant steel (CRES) or aluminium alloy to MIL-spec and NAS standards, they are produced by cold-heading, machining, or swaging processes.
