Passenger Control Units

Passenger Control Units (PCUs) are passenger-interface devices integrated into armrests or seatback panels that provide in-seat control of reading lights, attendant call functions, and IFE systems via low-voltage signal interfaces, typically conforming to ARINC 629 or ARINC 2429 data bus standards, and incorporating injection-moulded thermoplastic housings with EMI-shielded wiring harnesses certified to DO-160 environmental conditions.
