VOR receivers are airborne radio navigation units that demodulate VHF signals in the 108–117.95 MHz band to derive magnetic bearing information relative to ground-based omnirange stations, encompassing the associated RF front-end assemblies, phase-comparison circuitry, CDI output interfaces, and integration with ARINC 429 or MIL-STD-1553 data buses.
