Automatic Flight Control Systems

Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS) integrate autopilot functionality with flight director guidance to autonomously manage aircraft attitude, altitude, speed, and flight path, encompassing servo actuators, mode control panels, flight envelope protection, and auto-throttle subsystems, interfacing with inertial reference, air data, and navigation sensors via ARINC 429 or MIL-STD-1553 data buses.
